2014 National Day of Prayer for Climate Action

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

– Philippians 4:6-7

Mark your calendar for the week of March 31-April 6 when campuses, churches, and communities across the United States will come together for the National Day of Prayer for Climate Action.

The focal point will be a set of events taking place at Calvin College and Plaster Creek in Grand Rapids, MI, on Thursday, April 3. Additional prayer events will be organized around the country throughout the week — join us in prayer and worship as we learn about the impacts of climate disruption and how we can respond faithfully to the Biblical call to love God, love our neighbor, and care for creation.

The National Day of Prayer for Climate Action is sponsored by Young Evangelicals for Climate Action, the Evangelical Environmental Network, and Renewal: Students Caring for Creation.
