Who we are

History of Climate Prayer

The original @ClimatePrayer Twitter feed was created by Brendan Bowles in March 2009. Originally a project of Climate Stewards in the United Kingdom, Climate Prayer eventually began to operate independently. @ClimatePrayerUS was created as a partnership between the Climate Prayer and the United States-based movement Young Evangelicals for Climate Action (Y.E.C.A.).

Other projects, such as the Library of Climate Prayers and the Day of Prayer for Climate Action 2014, are also partnerships between Climate Prayer and Y.E.C.A..
